Hi, I'm Rachel, I am a fully qualified female Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

I have lived in Chesterfield and the surrounding area for all my life, I was born and raised and subsequently raised my own family here. For most of my adult life, I have been in business and have a wealth of experience with supporting and training people. After owning and running businesses for 40 years I decided to semi-retire and to look for my next challenge. There was no way I would retire fully though just yet, so this is why I decided to train to become a driving instructor. I enjoy helping people grow and I always got real job satisfaction when conducting staff training. I wanted a new career where I could help people achieve something, see them grow and I also really enjoy driving. So, I thought the next logical career choice was to become a driving instructor.

I chose to work with LDC because everybody is different, and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a pace that suits you. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible. The LD System just helps me to do this more effectively.

Lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons.
